Introduction
Our company independently manufactures this new generation series of the classifier, which synthesizes similar classification technology from Germany and Japan. At present it has reached the international advanced level of the same products. And it has advantages of simple structure , reliable and easy in operation. Now it is widely used in many areas, for example, it worked together with the ball mill, forming closed cycle to split and shunt the iron ore in the concentrating mill; classified the iron ore and fine silt in the gravity concentrator; graded the size of the pulp in metal processing and applied in de-sliming& dehydration operation during the process of ore washing. Actually, the classifier has four types: high weir single and double spiral, immersed single and double spiral classifiers.
High weir type : the top of the spiral vane is above the overflow surface, and the spiral center is under the overflow, mainly applied in classifying the size between 0.83-0.15mm.
Immersed type: the spiral vane all immersed under overflow surface, mainly applied in classifying the size between 0.15-0.07.
Working Principle
Classifier is mainly consists of driver, screw, trough , lifting device, bottom-support(bearing bush) and the discharging valve. The base adopts channel steel material, and the frame is welded with steel plate. Besides, the water input and spindle head of the screwing shaft use cast iron, making them durable and wear-resisting. Moreover, the lifting device has two types :motor-driven and hand-driven.
Classifier is a kind of mechanical classification equipment, which adopts this principle: different size of solid particle determines different specific weight, so in the liquid, the fall velocity of them is different too. The fine ore particle will float over the water, and then be overflowed out. On the contrary, the coarse ore particle will sink in the trough, and then be pushed to the upper by the screw. Moreover, it can classify the materials been grinded in the mill, and then filter them, use the flight to screw the coarse ore particle into the feeding opening and overflow the fine material out from the tube.
