Introduction
Metal-plastic overmold parts vacuum casting principle: First, use the benchmark sample or prototype made according to customer drawings to create a silicone mold, and then machining metal parts of the product through 3D printing or CNC. Finally, the plastic-like material is poured under vacuum state by using a silicone mold to reproduce an identical replica of the original benchmark sample or prototype. If there is a color requirement, pigments can also be added to the casting material, or it can be dyed or painted later on the final product to achieve different colors request.

Silicone vacuum casting process is widely used in aerospace, automotive, home appliances, toys and medical equipment and other fields.
