Replying to a separate question, she acknowledged India has signed 13 Free Alternate Agreements (FTAs) with its trading partners along side the UAE, Australia and Singapore.
„India is for the time being negotiating FTAs with the United Kingdom, the European Union and Canada. Alternatively, it’s miles now not easy to predict the timeline for completion of negotiations, as agreements are entered into when negotiating countries are happy with the ,” she added.
In one more reply, Patel acknowledged that as launched in Union Funds 2022-23, Special Financial Zones Act, 2005 will be modified with a brand new laws that can enable states to change into partners in Pattern of Enterprise and Carrier Hubs.

Replying to a matter on startups, Minister of Disclose for Commerce and Enterprise Som Parkash acknowledged that since the launch of Startup India initiative in 2016, Department for Promotion of Enterprise and Inner Alternate (DPIIT) has recognised 92,683 entities as startups as on February 28.
As at February-halt this year, Rs 537.25 crore has been authorised to 148 incubators by the Experts Advisory Committee under Startup India Seed Fund Contrivance and Rs 235.25 crore has been disbursed to the authorised incubators.
