The Gautam Buddh Nagar administration has issued a flood warning for low-lying regions along the Hindon as water discharge within the river elevated, officers said on Sunday. Around 200 other folks from five villages were evacuated and shifted to refuge homes after the alert was as soon as raised on Saturday, they said.
The river is flowing below the hazard stamp of 205-metre within the district, bordering Delhi in western Uttar Pradesh, based mostly on a senior officer.

„The Hindon is at the moment flowing at 200-metre, below the hazard stamp of 205-metre,” said Kumar, who shall be the nodal officer for flood assist work in Gautam Buddh Nagar.
The district is found between Hindon and Yamuna rivers. The district lately witnessed floods along the Yamuna river banks, which submerged 550 hectares of low-lying land, and impacted thousands of other folks and animals.
